
On February 4th,
2010, the moment had finally arrived, Dion Davie, head of the British agency of
Kling & Freitag SoundSystems, organized the first K&F workshop at the Liverpool
Institute Performing Arts ( http://www.lipa.ac.uk/ ), founded in1985 by Sir Paul McCartney and by
the Beatles producer George Martin.
Actually, the workshop took
place in the Paul McCartney Theatre of the venerable old building. The pupils
of the LIPA with specialization "technology" were invited.
The lecturer David Ludz was
in charge of the technical support for Kling & Freitag and was assisted
actively by the company VME with the substantial equipment of K&F systems,
the brand-new NOMOS XLC was contributed by K&F, Hanover.

The K&F workshop took
nearly 7 hours and included also a detailed part of practical experience. Chris
Layton, lecturer of the LIPA confirmed that the workshop has been received enthusiastically
by the participants and the organizers, and that this was certainly not the
last workshop of Kling & Freitag SoundSystem at the LIPA in
